Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Progressive Care Registered Nurse Telemetry to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with providers for pre- and post-operative care and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, timely documentation, medication administration, and maintaining cardiac care knowledge. Eligible for a robust benefits package and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License with Texas requirement within 60 days
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; identify and report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care administration in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:
