Qualifications

• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring techniques.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and critical vital signs, interpret data for distress or abnormal patterns.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per medical plan.
• Collaborate with providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care for cardiac status.
• Educate patients and families on heart health, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: COVID, Cardiac drips, Cardiac monitor, Cardioversion, Defibrillation, Device experience, EKG monitoring, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
