Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina is seeking RN Clinical Nurse IV Team Leads to provide education, training, and oversight for nursing staff across various locations, including UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill and other facilities. Positions are full-time, 36-40 hours per week.

Prerequisites include a BSN, NC RN licensure, BLS for Healthcare Providers, and 18 months of nursing experience with precepting. Incentives and relocation assistance may be available.

• 18+ months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting, with charge/precepting exposure.

Requirements:

The following are general requirements for an RN Clinical Nurse IV, but each position may have it’s own requirements as well.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a school of professional nursing.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) forHealthcare Provider certification
• For positions at magnet hospitals, professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet-approved list is required within the probationary period of employment.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Eighteen (18) months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting to include didactic and clinical experience in the area of assignment preferably with charge and precepting experience in the area of assignment.
