Joining this fast-paced team means joining a Surgical Unit with 25 private patient rooms, three bariatric patient rooms, an orthopedic rehabilitation gym, and a therapeutic tub training area. This comprehensive surgical floor is designed to centralize treatments and shorten recovery times. In this role you will work 3, 12-hour night shifts per week.
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The role is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction. It utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or compact licensure for the state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certifications or continuing education may be required based on area of practice. Related experience in the clinical area is preferred. Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience. Experience must include recent acute care practice in the specialty area. Home Health requires valid driver's license and active auto insurance. Some Banner Behavioral Health roles in Arizona require additional clearance cards as specified by state regulation.
Bachelor's degree is preferred. Professional certification is preferred.
