Rochester Regional Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Surgical Step Down Unit at Rochester General Hospital. The Surgical Step Down Unit specializes in the care of patients who have undergone complex and innovative vascular surgeries, amputations and other surgical services. The Unit will also care for Medical ICU patients, including those who are vent‑dependent.
The RN level will be determined at the time of hire based on the candidate’s qualifications and ability to meet Clinical Ladder requirements. An established compensation add‑on is applied to each RN level.
Level expectations include:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
