Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a mixed unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and every third weekend along with rotating holidays.

You will provide safe, compassionate care across General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice units. Required qualifications include an Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within four years.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN is highest degree, must graduate with a Bachelor's in Nursing within five years of start date
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within four years of start date
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1 year inpatient nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

What you will do:

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

Required Education, Licenses/Certifications, Skills and/or Experience:

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
• Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfathered OR
• RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing
• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred
