Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is a 443-bed, full-service, acute care hospital serving Dallas and Collin counties. A Staff Nurse works with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, and is accountable for clinical performance.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license, and at least 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency.

• Registered Nurse (RN) renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
