Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a licensed RN to independently provide routine and complex patient care in a clinical setting, developing long-term plans, managing contingencies, and delegating tasks to other care providers to ensure effective care delivery.

The role is full-time with a 5‑day, 8‑hour schedule. Must hold an active RN license in Texas (or a compact license) and a BLS certification. BSN preferred and nursing experience in a related specialty is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Deliver nursing care following the ANA Scope and Standards, utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources.
