Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a nursing leader to oversee clinical operations on day, evening, and night shifts. This Part-Time role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and focuses on delivering high-quality resident care with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role requires RN licensure with BSN preferred; you will mentor staff, coordinate with departments, and support recruitment and staff development in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift with policy and regulation adherence.
• Facilitate care delivery model implementation, mentoring staff and coordinating with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing for safe 24/7 care and minimize overtime.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.

• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
