Job summary

Genesis in Camden, ME is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing and lead the clinical operations on the assigned shift.

The role requires a licensed RN, 3+ years of clinical experience (2+ in long-term care) and current BLS/CPR certification; BSN preferred.

This full-time, on-site role offers growth within a collaborative care team and opportunities to impact resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience; two years in long-term care with one year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and RN license must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with delivery of efficient and effective nursing care and achieve positive clinical outcomes, patient/family and employee satisfaction.
• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentor staff, and make recommendations for promotions, transfers and terminations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe, 24/7 care, with emphasis on minimizing overtime and agency personnel.
• M-F rotation on call 3p to 11p.

Responsibilities

Advance your nursing career and join our team as an RN Supervisor. You will support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with the company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentor staff, and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers and terminations. * M-F Rotation on call 3p to 11p

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred. BSN preferred.

Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.
