Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Veterans Health Administration in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse - Staff Development Clinical Nurse Educator to deliver expert, evidence-based education to nursing staff in clinical and outpatient units.

You will assess learning needs, design trainings, apply innovative teaching methods, and evaluate outcomes to support clinical staff development. A valid RN license is required; schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm; telework is not available.

Qualifications

Education/training experience for clinical staff is preferred.

Registered Nurse-Staff Development Clinical Nurse Educator

Department: Department of Veterans Affairs

The Staff Development Clinical Nurse Educator is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for providing proficient, evidence-based education to staff.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to: Providing expert, evidence-based education to staff. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates educational needs to facilitate learner development and skill training of clinical staff. Utilizes innovative teaching strategies, assessment skills, and evaluation of outcomes. Provides educational instruction and training for nursing staff in clinical and outpatient units.

The Staff Development Clinical Nurse Educator understands instructional design, implementation, and application related to education and training.

Performs learning needs assessments, develops educational trainings for clinical staff within organization

VA Nurse Total Rewards Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
