Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage nursing care activities within the cath lab and interventional radiology departments. The RN will perform admissions assessments, plan and implement individualized care, and participate in quality improvement while delivering compassionate patient-centered service.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with procedures, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance with infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure.

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages nursing care activities within the cath lab and interventional radiology departments, providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and during care, documenting observations accurately.
• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Implements nursing interventions, administers medications, assists with procedures, and monitors patient responses.
• Evaluates and documents care effectiveness, adjusting plans as needed to meet patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates professionalism by participating in ongoing education, acting as a resource, and adhering to safety and infection control policies.
• Provides excellent service by communicating effectively, respecting patient dignity, and delivering timely, courteous care.
• Engages in quality improvement activities, collects data, and participates in research and performance enhancement efforts.
• Delivers age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing developmental knowledge and involving families when appropriate.
• Provides specialized care, including restraint management, pain assessment, and abuse detection, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid licensure.
• Minimum of one year medical-surgical experience; critical care or post-anesthesia care experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and extensive standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
• Strong assessment, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
• Adherence to safety standards, infection control policies, and professional accountability.
