Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Special Care Nursery to provide safe, compassionate nursing care and to coordinate patient plans within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work nights, 36 hours weekly, with rotating weekends and holidays. Requires an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, IL RN licensure, BLS, NRP within six months, and NICU experience; BSN within five years if ADN held.

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing required.
• If ADN is the highest degree, must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• Current IL RN license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• NRP certification within six months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care for all patient populations.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Hourly Pay Range:$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Position Highlights

• Sign On Bonus: $25,000 for candidates with at least 18 months of experience within Special care nursery clinical specialty (with parameters)

Special Care Nursery is a level 2E

Location: Elmhurst, IL

Full Time 36 hours

Hours: Nights 7 PM - 7 AM rotating weekends and rotating holidays required

A Brief Overview:The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
• High preferred 2 years of NICU Level 3 RN experience
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date into position
