Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Lincolnwood Place community in a night shift PT or PRN position. The role involves medication supervision, care planning, and coordinating with physicians and families to ensure high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in good standing, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of skilled/sub-acute/memory care experience, with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two year college/technical school or 2 years related experience.
• Area of Study: Nursing.
• 1+ years experience in skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting.
• Registered Nurse license current in the practicing state and CPR certified.
• English fluency to communicate with staff, residents and families.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Medication supervision/administration in compliance with laws and company guidelines.
• May assist with admissions, assessments and documentation.
• Developes/implements acute and long-term care/service plans.
• Maintain clinical system tracking (wounds, infections) under DON direction.
• Manage discharges, assessments and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide health-related consultation and notify physicians/families of changes.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to Safety & Disaster Plan and provide educational meetings.

Salary $42.00 + $4.00 Shift Differential

• Responsible for medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident's health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
• Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Level of Formal Education: An Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school: or Two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
