Job summary

Rainbow Rehab & Healthcare Center in Bartlett, TN is hiring Registered Nurses to plan, coordinate, and provide total nursing care for residents. You will supervise clinical staff and ensure high-quality patient care in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
Valid RN license in the state employed.
Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Initiates and leads team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans.
Assesses and documents residents' conditions and nursing needs.
Implements physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
Delegates nursing care to team members per residents' needs and qualifications.
Supervises LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
Administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments as required.
Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
Assists physicians with tests and procedures within the Nursing Practice Act.
Ensures supplies and equipment are used safely and maintained.
Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
Coordinates nursing care when residents are scheduled for therapy or procedures.
Participates in staff hiring, counseling, and disciplinary actions within state act.
