Job summary

Universal Health Services in California is seeking Seasonal Staff Registered Nurses for the PCU/Intermediate Care Unit. Positions run October 2026 through March 2027 with competitive pay and a completion bonus.

RNs provide patient care, perform assessments, and coordinate care on assigned units, while complying with policies and safety standards. One year PCU experience is preferred and a valid California RN license is required.

Responsibilities

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital is excited about hiring experienced, Seasonal Registered Nurses for our PCU/Intermediate Care Unit. These seasonal positions are temporary assignments, working October 2026 through March 2027. We are offering exceptional pay, and a bonus for successful completion of the assignment.

Staff Registered Nurses

are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned units. Will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement

Qualifications

One (1) year PCU experience preferred. Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse with current California RN license BLS (AHA) Certification ACLS (AHA) Certification NIH Stroke Certification

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
