Overview

We are seeking a temporary Registered Nurse (RN) to join our health services team. Oneonta Job Corps Academy is a residential vocational training program serving young adults ages 16-24. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and health-conscious environment while our students work toward their educational and career goals.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with established protocols.
Perform health assessments, administer medications, and maintain accurate health records.
Respond to medical concerns and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
Educate students on health, wellness, and preventative care practices.
Collaborate with other staff to support the overall well-being of the student population.

Schedule & Details

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Temporary/contract assignment
Competitive hourly pay

Requirements

Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
CPR/BLS certification required.
Experience working with young adults, adolescents, or in a school/college health setting is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
