Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery team. A sign-on bonus up to $7,500 is available for qualifying candidates. Two 9-hour shifts per week are offered with specific options.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and hold an active RN license. Prior acute care experience is preferred but not required. We provide competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Scheduled Shift Requirements:

• Two 9-hour scheduled shifts per week.
• Shift options: 0530-1500, 0600-1530, 0700-1630, 0830-1800, and 1000-1930

Previous acute care experience (preferred).

Duties/Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse(RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
