Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking an energetic Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Prep/Recovery Team. The 12-bed unit cares for cardiovascular patients including cardiac cath, structural heart, vascular, and electrophysiology.

You will coordinate care using the nursing process, communicate effectively with the team, and contribute to a safe, high-quality patient experience in a high-acuity setting. RN license, nursing degree, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license for the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Critical care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care according to standards and policies.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Our fast-paced 12-bed Prep/Recovery unit cares for a diverse cardiovascular population including cardiac cath, structural heart, vascular, and electrophysiology patients. We’re looking for energetic, adaptable nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient care are essential. Expectations We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Critical care experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
