Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic and to evaluate inpatient wounds. You will collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and staff to adjust treatment plans as needed.

The role requires an active CA RN license, BCLS certification, and prior acute care or wound care experience. WOC certification is preferred, with certification within the first year of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
• BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous Wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 Year).
• Wound Care Certification within first year of hire.
• Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic as well as evaluating inpatient wounds. Communicate with physicians / charge nurse / co - workers, as appropriate regarding changes in the patient's treatment, clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. Has the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $43.25 to $61.16. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
