Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, located in Walpole, MA, is seeking a dedicated Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead weekend nursing teams and provide hands-on care to residents.

The RN Supervisor will oversee licensed and support staff, ensure high-quality care, and maintain patient satisfaction while upholding facility policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to supervise staff with tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, Medication Technicians, and Restorative Aides on assigned units.
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV administration, colostomy care, tube feedings, and suctioning.
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders, administer medications, and monitor residents for changes or adverse reactions.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met, and staff follow policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic resident care.
• Participate in QAPI activities, surveys, and end-of-life care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and infection control standards.

Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 123-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to provide exceptional leadership and hands-on nursing care to our residents. As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will oversee licensed and support nursing staff on weekends, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction.
