Job summary

Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to lead a team during weekend hours. This role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care and supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on Saturdays and Sundays, with every-other-weekend coverage.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, has at least two years of long-term care supervision, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to supervise a nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during weekend hours.
• Conduct rounds to ensure residents receive quality care and address concerns.
• Collaborate with Rehabilitation, Social Services, and Dietary for holistic resident care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the IDT.
• Maintain accurate resident records and service documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor every other weekend at the Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents and supervise a team of skilled nurses during weekend hours. Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants during weekend hours
• Conduct rounds to ensure that residents are receiving quality care and address any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other departments, including Rehabilitation, Social Services, and Dietary, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the IDT
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and services provided
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities
• Provide education and training to staff members to ensure they are knowledgeable and skilled to provide high-quality care
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a strong preference for experience in a supervisory role
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
