Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Virtual Care Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver professional nursing care and clinical support to patients via virtual platforms. The role emphasizes patient assessments, education, documentation, and ongoing monitoring using electronic medical record systems.

The position requires an active RN license (compact may be accepted), BLS within 14 days of hire, and at least 3 years of medical/surgical inpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license or license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing, must be compact license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing.

Responsibilities

• The Virtual Care RN p rovides professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual and remote care platforms.

• Accountable for performing patient assessments, care coordination, patient education, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring while utilizing multiple healthcare technology systems, including the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Establishes collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and continuity of care.

• Adheres to organizational policies, professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines to ensure safe, compliant, and patient-centered care in a virtual environment.
