Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Urgent Care in Georgia. The role delivers professional nursing care, conducts assessments, plans and evaluates patient care, and supports team decisions in a fast-paced setting.

This is a part-time, PRN position with on-site responsibilities at Navicent Health Medical Center - NH Urgent Care Zebulon. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a Georgia RN license (eNLC acceptable) and have BLS current within 30 days

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN or eNLC license with the Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care for assigned patient(s) in urgent care according to practice standards.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborates with team and acts as instructor, leader and advocate in patient care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current RN or eNLC license with the Georgia Board of Nursing.

Current BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Pay Range

$35.50 - $53.25

Provides professional nursing care for assigned patient(s) in one or more patient care departments according to State Board of Nursing Practice Act, American Nursing Association Code of Ethics and standards of practice and professional performance. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation for patients served. As an active participant in decisions related to patient care and nursing practice, serves as instructor, colleague, researcher, advocate and leader. Must demonstrate competency in assuring quality care, Process Improvement, patient and employee safety, collaboration, consultation and professional development. Assumes responsibility for planning, organizing, delegating and evaluating patient care rendered by LPNs, technicians, medical receptionists and other staff.
