Job summary

Trinity Health in Muskegon, MI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift role (7a–7:30p) with a 72-hour per pay period schedule and rotating weekend coverage. Orientation will precede the start date, with holidays per the collective bargaining agreement.

The RN will deliver evidence-based care within an interdisciplinary team, facilitating all aspects of the patient visit and supporting a compassionate, person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan RN license required.
• Prior staff RN experience in the appropriate clinical setting preferred.
• Orientation typically 1–3 months; familiar with hospital policies and procedures.

Set rotating schedule to include set weekend rotation up toevery other weekend. Schedule will be given after successfully completing the orientation period. Management does have discretion to change schedule 30 days prior to the start of the 6-week scheduling periods if needed. Holidays scheduled in accordance with CBA

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required.
• For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.

CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with themedial staff. This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time.
• Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s forrelicensure.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision ofMGHP.
