Job summary

Axia Women's Health in Chester County seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) - Triage & Support for our OBGYN practice. You will provide clinical triage by phone and messaging, document assessments in the EMR, and educate patients on test results and follow-up steps.

The role requires PA RN licensure, CPR, and at least 1 year in outpatient care; eClinicalWorks experience is preferred. Hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:30 and Fri 7:30-3:30; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Must hold current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient inquiries via phone and electronic messaging with clinical triage per nursing protocols.
• Documents symptoms, assessments, advice, and patient responses in the EMR.
• Communicates lab and imaging results with patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Collaborates with physicians to determine appropriate clinical actions based on patient concerns.
• Processes medication refills per provider direction.
• Supports care coordination and scheduling logistics.
• Performs vital signs, injections, and phlebotomy as needed.
• Adheres to clinical policies and participates in quality improvement.

We have an opening for aRegistered Nurse (RN) - Triage & Supportat our Chester County OBGYN practice.

Hours: Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30-4:30pm & Friday 7:30-3:30pm

Duties:

• Responds to patient inquiries via phone and electronic messaging, providing clinical triage and guidance in accordance with established nursing protocols.
• Accurately documents symptoms, nursing assessments, advice given, and patient responses in the EMR.
• Communicates results of laboratory and imaging tests as directed by the provider, including patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Collaborates with physicians and advanced practice providers to determine appropriate clinical actions based on patient concerns and symptoms.
• Processes medication refill requests in accordance with provider direction and practice protocols.
• Supports care coordination by managing patient follow-up needs, referral communications, and scheduling logistics.
• Performs nursing tasks such as vital signs, injections, and phlebotomy as needed to support patient care delivery.
• Maintains awareness of and adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to promote consistent and safe patient care.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to a positive team-based care environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in documenting within an electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and function in a fast-paced environment
• Competency in phlebotomy and standard nursing procedures

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Must hold current and unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Previous experience with eClinicalWorks (EMR) strongly preferred.
• Experienced in ObGyn/Women’s Health beneficial.
• Understanding of lab order sets and CPT coding a plus.
• Ability to work at satellite locations as needed.

Pay or shift range: $30 to $37
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
