Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents in a safe, clean environment. The role includes developing and implementing individualized care plans and collaborating with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants to achieve optimal outcomes.

The RN will diagnose nursing needs, work with the care team, and document medication administration while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community.
• Desire to care for residents and act with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.

• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident and healthcare team.

• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility.
• Follows procedures related to nursing equipment and supplies.
