Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. is seeking a Telemetry and Oncology Registered Nurse at Riddle Hospital to join a 34-bed unit delivering telemetry-focused care with occasional oncology patients. You will care for adults and may administer chemotherapy as needed, with opportunities for certification.

Qualifications

• RN Diploma or ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• 1.6 months of RN experience required; acute care experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult telemetry patients with a small number of oncology patients.
• Some oncology patients may require chemotherapy treatment.
• Pursue chemotherapy certification and expand skills when ready.
• Participate in unit committees and precept new staff as available.

As part of our Interdisciplinary Team within a 34-bed unit, your care and treatment of patients plays an integral role in their overall patient experience. As a Registered Nurse, you will primarily care for an adult telemetry patient population while also providing care to a small number of oncology patients. Some oncology patients may require chemotherapy treatment. When leadership determines you are ready, you will have the opportunity to become chemotherapy certified and expand your skill set. While oncology care is an important component of the unit, it represents a relatively small portion of the overall patient population, with telemetry nursing serving as the primary focus.

Position:

Registered Nurse RN -4 South

Shift:

Full-Time, Nights; 7:00 pm to 7:30 am; every third weekend rotation required.

Experience:

1.6 months of RN experience required; acute care experience highly preferred.

Education:

1. RN Diploma, ASN required.

2. BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.

2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
