Job summary

SEH Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, Inc. in Florence, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown unit (TCU 4NW). This full-time role offers a 36-hour week with night shifts (7P–7A) in a 32-bed unit, providing critical care to cardiac patients.

The RN will deliver evidence-based nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. A nursing degree from an accredited school and a multi-state Compact license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
• If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.
• Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses.
• Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards and medication calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy to patients and families.

The registered nurse is responsible to delegate tasks appropriately to other licensed and unlicensed health care team members.
