Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe patient care in the Telemetry Unit, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation and directing patient/family teaching.

You will deliver direct care, communicate patient changes to physicians, and collaborate with the care team to maintain standards. IL RN license and BLS/ACLS are required; nights, full-time. Prior acute care and ventilator management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification; preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities
