RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Surgical Unit-I at RWJUH Hamilton Hospital in New Jersey. The role involves patient procedures, medication administration, and precise documentation. Expect night shift hours and strict adherence to unit policies.

Qualified candidates hold an NJ RN license, ASN/ diploma, and BLS/ACLS; BSN within 5 years is preferred. The position requires weekend/holiday coverage and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license.
• ASN or Nursing Diploma (Must agree to complete BSN within 5 years of hire date).
• BLS and ACLS required.
• This position works every other weekend and holiday.
• Strong communication, excellent customer service, interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: $46.90 - $63.09 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview :

Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administer medications accurately and safely. Document according to policies and procedures and demonstrating technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

Required:

• Current New Jersey RN license
• ASN or Nursing Diploma (Must agree to complete BSN within 5 years of hire date)
• BLS and ACLS required
• This position works every other weekend and holiday
• Strong communication, excellent customer service, interpersonal skills are required to be successful in this role,

Preferred:

• BSN
• Chemo/Immunotherapy Provider Card
• 1-2 years medical-Surgical Oncology nursing experience
