Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks an RN to join the Surgery team at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. This full-time role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and requires an active RN license in the state of practice, with BLS certification.

BSN is preferred and prior healthcare experience is desirable. The position features 40 hours/week, days, in a multi-hospital system known for compassionate care and a strong patient-first culture.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program and licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
  • Assist in the Surgery department during shifts and provide perioperative support.
  • Maintain patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout the surgical pathway.

Pay Range: $32.00 - $48.00 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgery team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside.

Education Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
