Job summary

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is seeking an experienced RN to join the Surgery team in Spartanburg, SC. This full-time position runs 11am–7pm with call responsibilities, offering a sign-on bonus for new grads and eligibility for experienced RNs.

The Acute Care RN will provide inpatient care, maintaining patient safety and high-quality outcomes in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, and support ongoing education and professional growth within the perioperative department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved / accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of South Carolina or Compact State.
• BLS - may secure certification post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care in accordance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organizational protocols.
• Demonstrate clinical competency using evidence-based practices across the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership to support Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's culture, Mission, Vision, and Values.

The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides inpatient nursing care to patients in compliance with the SC Nurse Practice Act and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The RN demonstrates clinical competency utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. The RN demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways/care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for support associates. The RN will collaborate with leadership in developing and implementing the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System's culture, Mission, Vision, and Values.
