Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, is hiring a Registered Nurse for rotating days/evenings/nights with weekend and holiday coverage. The role includes 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/wk) and a competitive pay range of $32.50 - $48.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Candidates must hold an active RN license and be able to work the schedule. The nurse will develop care plans, coordinate with the health care team, and educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care by reviewing physician prescriptions and care plans.
• Coordinates with the health care team to implement the nursing plan.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Documents patient status and adjusts care plan as conditions change.
