Hillcrest HealthCare System seeks a day shift, full-time Special Procedure Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. The RN provides direct patient care, performs contrast injections, and monitors patient responses in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and day-to-day operations; 24-hour call with 30-minute response time.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
• Individuals within this job classification are accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• The Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
• This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care, including the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
• Will participate in performance improvement initiatives. Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department.
• Must be available for 24-hour call back with a 30-minute response time.
