Job summary

Paradise Valley Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an RN for a full-time night shift in behavioral health. The role involves direct patient care, safety interventions, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Requirements include an active RN license and BLS certification; knowledge of mental health laws and behavioral health processes is preferred. This position offers comprehensive benefits as part of a Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support patient follow-up and rehabilitation planning and coordinate with care teams.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, diet, exercise, and self-administration of medications and therapies.

Responsibilities

Registered nurses (RNs) perform basic duties that include treating patients, educating patients about mental and medical conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients’ and/or family members, running therapeutic groups, psychiatric crisis intervention, seclusion and restraint of patients. RNs record patients’ medical histories and symptoms, help to perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operate medical machinery, administer treatment and medications, and help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation. RNs teach patients and their families how to manage their illness or injury, diet and exercise programs, and self-administration of medication and physical therapy. Other related duties.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $48.24 to $66.50. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
