Job summary

Saunders Medical Center in Nebraska's Saunders County seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Skilled & Long-Term Care unit to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support the nursing team.

You will monitor vital signs, assist with daily activities, document care, respond to call lights, and help with admissions and transfers while following safety and HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care according to their care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, meal consumption, and other required documentation.
• Report changes in residents' conditions or abnormal vital signs to the Charge Nurse.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and alarms.
• Assist with safe transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly resident rooms and care areas.
• Assist with resident admissions, dismissals, meals, and other assigned unit duties.
• Follow all safety, infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies.

Job Overview

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in Saunders Medical Center's Long-Term Care facility. The LTC CNA assists residents with daily activities, monitors their condition, and works closely with the nursing team to provide safe, quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care according to their care plans.
