Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an RN for full-time night shift in Winter Park, FL. Grow professionally within a faith-based health system and participate in a Clinical Ladder program that supports salary advancement up to 20% through demonstrated achievement.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, CPR required.
• PALS required.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• One-year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; revise as needed based on progress.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.

Job Description:

Schedule:

Full-time, 36 hours per week

Shift:

Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (with weekend rotation)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.


• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.


• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.


• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.


• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
