Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care within a school system using the Nursing Process. You will assess learning needs, plan and implement teaching strategies, and collaborate with families and school staff to achieve positive outcomes.

This job is considered a leader in the provision of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. This job administers nursing care under the guidelines of a school system. Participates in the implementation and evaluation of student care. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of students.

Education

Preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
