Interim HealthCare Staffing in Indianapolis is seeking a School Nurse (RN) to support students with health needs in a welcoming school setting. You will provide direct care, administer medications, monitor student health records, develop care plans, and educate students, staff, and families on health topics.

Requirements: graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Indiana RN license, CPR certification, 1 year of pediatric/school health experience; available Aug 31–Oct 9 with potential

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Indiana
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric, school health, or community health nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently
• Compassionate communicator who values collaboration with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to students for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies
• Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and wellness
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary
• Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being
