RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Same Day Surgery unit on a per diem, evening shift at Jersey City Medical Center. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer care, and support patients and families throughout the care continuum.
The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and a BSN or active BSN enrolled status. EPIC EMR experience and ambulatory/same-day surgery exposure are preferred. Weekday evenings with weekend commitments are included.

To be considered for this RN opportunity you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification. A bachelor's degree in nursing is required or actively enrolled in a BSN program with an expected completion date. Ambulatory/ Same Day Surgery experience with pre-op and post-op/phase II required. Must be comfortable with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Monday-Friday flexible 8 hr shift 12:00pm -8:00pm. Must be able to work every other weekend. Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 3 shifts a month, you will need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
