Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Same-Day Surgery Center on a part-time days schedule (24 hours per week). The unit offers growth opportunities and a supportive team as you care for patients in pre-op and Phase II recovery.

A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. ADN is required; BSN or higher is preferred to advance within the Sentara system.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 24 months of RN experience in an acute care setting; ED/ICU preferred.

Requirements

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 24 months of experience as an RN in an Acute care setting - ED and ICU experience desired.

Education

ADN Required, BSN or higher preferred

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
