Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Same-Day Surgery Center in Norfolk, VA. The role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a rotating, part-time schedule (32 hours/week) across four 8-hour shifts in Pre-op and Phase II recovery, Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays.

Candidates must hold Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN license with BLS, have 2 years RN experience, and ADN required with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• 24 months of experience as an RN
• Education ADN Required
• BSN or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Pre-op and Phase II recovery.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Promote teamwork and professional growth within the unit.
