Ideal candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred) and current Colorado RN licensure with CPR, ACLS, and PALS, ensuring safe, patient-centered perioperative care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

  • Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Experience in preoperative assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough preoperative assessments of patients' current health.
  • Coordinate care among patients, physicians, and departments to ensure smooth surgical prep.
  • Utilize the Surgical Risk Calculator to assess and communicate surgical risks.
  • Provide clear guidance on preoperative medications, arrival times, and protocols.
  • Directly provide patient care while delegating tasks to team members.
  • Collaborate with the care team to solve problems and improve outcomes.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. Bachelors (BSN) is preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
  • Must maintain current CPR certification.
  • Must maintain current ACLS certification.
  • Must maintain current PALS
