Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. is seeking a day shift, full-time Rapid Admission Unit Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $16,000 and potential relocation assistance to support a smooth transition.

The RN will provide high-quality nursing care, lead teams during crises, and coordinate admission and discharge to maintain optimal patient flow within a modern acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma and active NM RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• Relocation and sign-on bonus may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients per nursing care standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, including potential crises.
• Serve as team leader during patient crises.
• During high acuity crises, may function as staff RN in ICU, ED or designated areas of need.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow.

Responsibilities

• According to nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Has responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patients that could potentially result in a patient crisis situation.
• Seen as team leader during patient crisis situations.
• During high acuity or crisis situations, may function as a staff RN in the ICU, ED or designated areas of need.
• Assist with the admission and discharge processes and paperwork for optimal patient flow.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS, PALS
