The ideal candidate holds an active Texas RN license, BLS within 14 days of hire, and ACLS/PALS certifications, with preferred critical care or procedural experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing degree with an active TX RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct patient care using the nursing process for a designated time frame.
• Assist the Radiologist with procedures in the IR Department.
• Care for adults, geriatric, and pediatric patients; use ionizing radiation and imaging modalities.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• The IR Registered Nurse assists the Radiologist with procedures performed in the IR Department.
• The patient population contains adults, geriatric and pediatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Associates Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor/Master of Science in Nursing
• Must maintain current Texas RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS
• PALS

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One-year critical care or procedural experience
