Loyola Medicine is seeking a Radiology RN in a full-time rotating shift at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood. The role covers imaging procedures including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, and breast imaging support, with post-call and anesthesia recovery elements.

Responsibilities emphasize patient education, safety, rapid deterioration recognition, and strong interdisciplinary communication. Benefits start day one, with growth opportunities within a team-focused unit.

Qualificações

• BSN or ADN from an accredited school required.
• BLS Provider certification required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description:

Radiology RN's

• Coverage areas are all imaging procedures which include CT; MRI; Fluoroscopy; Nuclear Medicine; Breast Imaging support of variety of procedures which can include pre/post calls; anesthesia/sedation recovery; etc

Clinical & Technical Skills

• IV access (including difficult access patients)

• Medication administration

• Sedation monitoring & recovery

• Pre- and post-procedure assessment which includes clearance (lab)

• Hemodynamic monitoring

• Basic telemetry rhythm recognition

Critical Thinking & Safety

• Rapid identification of patient deterioration

• Ability to escalate appropriately (RRT, code protocols)

• Infection prevention (especially procedural breast imaging)

Patient Care & Communication

• High-level patient education (procedures, risks, consent support)

• Anxiety management

• Strong interdisciplinary communication

Schedule: 5x8's. Rotation of Weekends and holidays 7:30am-4pm.

Location: Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood

What Registered Nurse RN will need:

• A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required -BSN or ADN

• BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire

• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire

BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour

ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
