Job summary

Live Oak Rehabilitation Center in San Gabriel, CA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on the night weekend shifts.

The role provides leadership to staff, conducts assessments, admits/transfers/discharges, and collaborates with physicians to ensure safe, compassionate resident care. California RN license required, PCC experience preferred, COVID vaccination required.

We offer competitive pay of $53–$55 per hour plus opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in California.
• Willingness to pass medications.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including boosters.
• Experience providing direct care to multiple patients preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to nursing staff to ensure quality care for residents.
• Perform assessments, rounds, carry out physician orders, and coordinate with healthcare professionals.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Make rounds with physicians as requested.
• Orient and welcome new residents and families.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in California
• Must be willing to Pass Medications
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster shots
• Experience providing direct care to multiple patients preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC)

Primary Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to all other facility nursing staff ensuring quality care is provided to all residents.
• Conduct assessments, make rounds, carry out physician’s orders, and communicate with our other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of excellent care in a clean, safe, dignified, happy and healthy environment
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
• Make rounds with physicians as requested/necessary
• Orient and welcome new residents and families
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Scale:

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
