Danbury Hospital in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health unit, with night shift coverage in the ED and cross-training to the inpatient floor. The role involves delivering care using the nursing process in collaboration with the health care team.

Required: State of CT RN license and BLS certification; minimum six months of Psych/Behavioral Health experience. This full-time position offers night shift hours and competitive hourly pay.

Summary

Provides professional care and assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with other health care team members.

Required:State of CT RN license.BLS certification required. Minimum six months of current RN Psych/Behavioral Health Experience required.

Inpatient unit with coverage in the Behavioral Health unit in the emergency department as needed.

Hours: 32 control hours

Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am rotating weekend and holidays. This position will be in the ED with cross training to inpatient floor.
