Hartford HealthCare’s Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department focused on psychiatric emergencies. You will provide rapid assessments, de-escalation, crisis stabilization, and direct patient care in a fast-paced ER setting.

The role requires CT RN licensure, BLS, CPI readiness, and preferred BSN/MSN with behavioral health experience; scheduling is night shifts with a strong emphasis on safety and patient stabilization.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Ability to obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
